It’s only a few meters from the old town access door, with a stunning view of Santa Maria´s Cathedral and the Bidasoa river from the rooms. Quite a spectacle for the senses. Our home is, probably, one of the oldest and best-preserved buildings in Hondarribia.
Hondarribia is a very complete destination: the location between the sea and the mountains makes it attractive for those who enjoy a quiet walk between green meadows and caserios (typical basque farm houses) and also for water sports lovers. Also, Hondarribia is just 22 km from Donostia and one step away from the Basque-French municipality of Hendaye.
Hondarribia is also a member of the Medieval Villas of Spain Network. This is visible walking through its cobbled streets and looking at its mansions with shields or emblematic places such as the door of Santa Maria in the wall, the Fortification of San Nicolás or our own hotel, which is more than ten centuries old.
